Hannah Montana Concert in 3D

We were lucky enough to get tickets to the Hannah Montana concert where she filmed the 3D concert earlier this year. This weekend the girls were able to watch the concert on TV. The girls had so much fun watching the concert in 3D. I liked the concert better sitting on my couch on not having to hear 20,000 teenagers scream at the top of there lungs. The girls sure liked being at the concert and being able to watch it at home as well.

Talk story!!

I've seen this on a few blogs and it seems fun. Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together, or one of the first memories you have of me. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Frampton Family reunion at Island Park

We spent the last week at a Frampton Family reunion in Island Park Idaho near Yellowstone. It was the first reunion we have been to and it was super fun. While there we did plenty of things. Wakeboarding, tubing, swimming in the lake, playing Frisbee football, taking lots of pictures (3000+ for the group) 4 wheeler rides, seeing lots of wildlife, Bobbi cutting 18 relative’s hair and nails, playing pool, and so much more. It sure was fun to hang out with all the family that we don’t get to see too often. The cabin we stayed at was super nice and right on the water so we didn’t have to leave the cabin to watch the fun on the boat and much anything else either. We definitely recommend anybody looking for a place for a family reunion to go to Island Park it sure was a fun place and would like to go back for another. Thanks for all that took part in the reunion and made it a success.

Here are a bunch of photos for the week.

Skin Cancer

These past couple of weeks in class I have been teaching about the skin. This past week it was about sun damage, After really studying it and having to teach it I have learned so much. Anyway to see some pretty interesting facts about sun damage to our skin go to my class blog at www.bonlosee.blogspot.com it is crazy how the sun can age you so much more than if you didn't overexpose your skin to the sun. Here are a few interesting facts:

80% of skin cancer is caused by sunburns experienced before the age of 18
Each hour, 1 person dies from skin cancer
More women in their 20 & 30's die of skin cancer than breast cancer
Skin cancer accounts for more than 50% of all cancers combined
1 in 3 Caucasians will be diagnosed with skin cancer sometime in their life
One bad burn in childhood doubles the risk factor for melanoma later in life

Who can catch the big one...

Alan and Debbie from Hawaii are in town for vacation and one of the things that Zack, Wyatt and Garrett wanted to do was go fishing. And fishing is what we did!! We went to a local pond where they raise trout and Emyly and Averi had a lot of fun catching fish. The girls made sure I put the worm on the hook and did all the dirty stuff like touching the fish but other than that they really enjoyed it. Emyly has even asked when we can go do it again. Who knows maybe when the girls get a little bigger they will want to go out on a float tube and go fly fishing with me on the lake.

Scrapbooking Your Blogs

You may or may not already know that you can have your blogs put into a book with pictures and all. One of my students told me about "blurb" it is a website that you can upload your blog to, if you would like to change or arrange the layout you have that option, then you order your book. Check it out. I think it's a great option for journaling your family's year of events. If anyone knows of any other websites that do this I'd love to check them out as well.
