Emyly's day at the BYU football game

The Bushnells gave us some tickets to the BYU Wyoming football game today where BYU killed Wyoming. Thanks.
I took Emyly this time thinking she's a little older and would understand what is going on a little more than Averi.
Here is the story of how our game went.
5 minutes into the game Emyly is already putting her head on my lap acting like she is bored or tired. I tried pointing out cosmo and the cheerleaders hoping that they would catch her attention and help pass some of the time.
25 minutes into the game Emy was laying underneath our bench seats eating her treats. I asked if she was bored and ready to go. She said she wasn't. As she is laying underneath the seats people are trying to get by with food and drinks so she had to sit up. Once again wanting to put her head on my lap not caring what was going on. Every time the crowd would cheer she would plug her ears like it was the loudest thing she had ever heard. I told her this was nothing like the noise at the Hannah Montanna concert we had gone to. We needed earplugs to survive. I guess she thought the concert was much more worth it to her.(?)
I tried to get Emyly to call and talk to Bobbi or Averi to help pass the time but she couldn't hear anyone so that didnt work either.
Needless to say at around halftime (the game was already over)I asked if she was ready to go. She didnt want to say yes because she knew I wanted to stay but did.
I guess the good thing about leaving at halftime is I beat the traffic home, got to watch other football games and golf at the same time, didn't have extremely loud cougar fans that didnt know anything about sports behind me the rest of the game.
Who knows, maybe this is what sporting events are going to be the rest of my life since I have been blessed with only girls.? At least we gave it a try with one of the girls. Better luck next time.

Ha ha ha ha. So funny. And typical. So sad we're not there so you can borrow our boys once it a while.

But Emy will always remember her sweet dad who tried. You'll get brownie points in heaven for that one.

P.S. 64 DEGREES??? OUCH!

I like that weather thing. I would add one to my blog, but I wouldn't want to make people cry every time they check my blog.

that's funny. At least she was a good sport. I wish we were there to go to some of the BYU games, especially this season.

Now you know what coach drury was feeling all those years taking his girs to payson v. springville and the likes.

Let's all pray for a boy....you never know, he may still like sports EVEN with 3 or 4 older sisters. But probably not.

Hey Travis had three older sisters and two younger sisters and I don't think you could have gotten a more boy than him, so don't worry about that.

She probably had more fun that you know and what a neat memory. It reminds me of the song "Daddy's Girl"
