This Christmas
We asked the girls what they would like more. Getting more presents for Christmas or doing an activity every night up to Christmas. They surprisingly chose doing the activity. So we are doing something fun every night until Christmas and will be choosing activities like going to the Nutcracker, watching santa turn on the city Christmas lights, parade, etc. It should be really fun and we will keep an update of how things are going. If anyone has ideas let us know.

How Fun! I would not have the energy to drag my 3 around. You're amazing.
Sorry no ideas here. I think that is a great idea!! The memories made will last much longer than a bunch of "stuff".
p.s. How is Bon Losee working out for you?
I would want to cry thinking about the energy to do an activity every night. I think it's really cool of you to do that. They definitely would remember that more than presents they get. I don't have very many/good ideas. Here are some though:
1) you can't forget to drive around and look at christmas lights.
2) go see santa at the mall
3) visit an old folks home or something like it. Carol to them or take them goodies.

Here are some ideas...decorate Christmas cookies, make ginger bread houses (or the graham cracker version), have a little Christmas party and do a white elephant game/gift exchange, have a red and green party (wear red and green, eat red and green...), "Muppets Christmas Carol" was one of our favorite Christmas movies...still cracks me up! I love the idea of counting down to Christmas with activities!!
