Today was Emyly's first day of school. She was excited, scared, and disappointed summer was over already.
When I (Jeremy) was in grade school I went to Grandview Elementary and that is where Emyly went for Kindergarten this past year. This summer they closed and knocked down Grandview (we were all sad to see it go.)
Now Emyly is going to Westridge. She is way excited because her new mascot is a wildcat and she thinks she is just like the students in High School Musical. She also was happy to see that a bunch of the same kids that were at Grandview are also at Westridge.
Westridge is a lot bigger than Grandview was. At Grandview there were three teachers per grade and now at Westridge there are six teachers per grade. One good thing is that Westridge is no longer a year round school and they go just the traditional way with summer break.
Good luck being a 1st grader Emy! We know that you will do well, have fun, learn a lot and make new friends.

Man- it is sure good to see and hear from you guys. Thanks for everything hope things are going well in Utah, when we come out there we should hook up, I know that is gay sounding but you know really we should meet up. Again good to hear from you!

Emy--you are getting so big! I remember when you were just a baby-smaller than Bri is right now--when Uncle Brant and I got to see you in Hawaii. Wow! How time flies. You're going to do great! We love you, miss you, and wish we could see you more often!

i can't believe she is old enough to be in 1st grade!! what a cutie--i remember her just cruzin' around in her walker in TVA. funny.
I think they used compete naked in the origianl olympics. Maybe Bobbi would have liked to watch it more then! I know the winners were also treated like gods. Your little blog argument was so funny to read! How fun to get to go to a bran new school. Have fun Emy!
